LOCTITE® 518 - general-purpose, semi-flexible flange sealant for rigid machine flanges
This anaerobic-curing flange sealant is designed for sealing rigid, close-fitting cast iron, aluminium and steel flanges. It cures even with minor surface contamination between rigid metal flanges and accommodates small flange movements.
Ideal for aluminium substrates requiring high flexibility and as a formed-in-place gasket, e.g. for pumps, thermostats, compressors, gearbox housings and axle covers.
