LOCTITE® 55 - thread sealing cord for metal and plastic pipe threads and fittings
Non-curing thread sealing cord providing an immediate full-pressure seal. Ideal for fast and reliable sealing in hot, cold and potable water systems as well as gas (LPG) and hydrogen applications.
LOCTITE 55 is temperature resistant up to 149 °C (300 °F). Unlike PTFE tape, pipe connections can be backed off and readjusted by up to 45° after assembly without compromising the seal.
