Tap-Trap, the ecological flying insect trap.
The "Tap-Trap" can very easily be mounted on a common PET bottle, half-filled with an aqueous solution.
The solution shlould be chosen according to the insect family.
Following solutions have proven their value:
sugar solution for e.g. wasps, moths, codling moths and similar: 500 ml water, 2 tsp. sugar or honey, 50 ml red wine vinegar, protein solution; for e.g. fruit flies, blowflies, houseflies or similar: 500 ml water mixed with dog or cat food.
