SparkCheck'r™ Ignition Tester – electronic diagnostic tool for quick and easy testing of ignition systems on gasoline engines
The SparkCheck'r™ clips directly onto the ignition lead and allows the ignition system to be checked without removing the spark plug or ignition lead. It assists in checking for a correct ignition spark and diagnosing shorted or fouled spark plugs as well as open or broken spark plug wires.
For testing, attach the SparkCheck'r™ to the ignition lead while the engine is not running. Then pull the recoil starter firmly or operate the electric starter long enough to turn the engine over several times. LEDs on the tester indicate the detected spark condition. The supplied diagnostic chart assists with interpreting the results.
