LOCTITE® 511 - low-strength thread sealant for metal pipes and fittings
Thixotropic, one-component thread sealant for locking and sealing metal pipes and fittings.
The white to off-white, general-purpose dimethacrylate ester acrylic sealant cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces and is suitable for threads up to M80/R3".
LOCTITE 511 has DVGW approval for gas and can be used at operating temperatures from -55 °C to +150 °C (-67 °F to 302 °F).
