LOCTITE® 577 - general-purpose, medium-strength thread sealant for metal pipe threads and fittings
Thixotropic thread sealant for locking and sealing straight and tapered/straight metal threaded connections.
LOCTITE 577 offers high temperature and contamination tolerance, cures on active and inactive metals and provides immediate sealing against low pressures.
The product will not creep, shrink or shred. It is also suitable for stainless steel without surface activation and fills gaps up to 0.25 mm (0.01"). Minor contamination from cutting, lubrication, anti-corrosion and protective oils does not impair curing.
