LOCTITE® SI 5910 Silicone Flange Sealant, 40 ml – fast-setting, oil-resistant silicone sealant for flexible flanges made from metal or plastic
LOCTITE® SI 5910 is a one-component, moisture-curing, thixotropic silicone sealant for flexible flanges with machined or cast surfaces. This low-strength formed-in-place flange gasket is resistant to oil and relative movement and provides a fast skin formation time. Typical applications include sealing stamped sheet metal flanges such as timing covers and oil pans.
The product is suitable for gaps up to 1 mm and achieves a through-cure depth of 2.75 mm within 24 hours. Its thixotropic consistency reduces migration of the liquid product after application and supports controlled and reliable sealant application.
